Corpus Christi
Corpus Christi is a coastal city in Nueces County in the state of Texas. It also extends into Aransas, Kleberg, and San Patricio Counties. With approximately 326,000 people, Corpus Christi is the eighth-most populous city in Texas. The Port of Corpus Christi is also the fifth-largest in the United States. The city’s name means “Body of Christ” and given by Spanish explorer Alonso Alvarez de Pineda in 1519.
There are several attractions in the city that bring people here: the Texas State Aquarium, the USS Lexington, the National Seashore, and Mustang Island State Park. (Oh and there’s the Selena Memorial on Ocean Drive!)
Naval Airstation Corpus Christi is also located about 6 miles southeast of the central business district.
When it comes to Corpus Christi real estate, there are so many options to consider for residential and commercial real estate. The city limits extend onto Mustang Island before entering into Port Aransas city limits.
